Subwoofer

Give Your Bass the Signal it Deserves

Adding a subwoofer should make a system sound bigger, deeper and more immersive. It shouldn't introduce hum, noise or another round of second-guessing.

Performance Subwoofer is designed to make the connection between your amplifier and active subwoofer simple, reliable and engineered for musical accuracy.

Built around QED's proven Solid Complementary Conductor™ Technology, it helps preserve signal timing and integrity while advanced shielding technology protects delicate low-frequency signals from the electrical noise found in modern homes.

Whether you're adding a subwoofer to a stereo system, expanding a home cinema setup or finally giving your speakers the low-frequency support they deserve, Performance Subwoofer gives you the confidence that this vital connection is properly taken care of.

Designed for Low-Frequency Precision

A subwoofer does more than add weight to explosions and basslines. Done properly, it adds scale, texture and authority to music and movies alike.

The challenge is preserving the low-level analogue signal travelling between amplifier and subwoofer while preventing unwanted noise from finding its way into the system.

Solid Complementary Conductor™ Technology

Performance Subwoofer uses two electrically isolated solid-core conductors made from 99.999% oxygen-free copper. The differing conductor diameters are designed to help reduce timing errors and maintain signal accuracy throughout the audio pathway.

The result is bass that sounds more controlled, more detailed and better integrated with the rest of your system.

Built for the Real World

Modern living rooms are packed with potential sources of interference. TVs, Wi-Fi routers, games consoles, switching power supplies and smart home devices all generate electrical noise.

Performance Subwoofer combines dual electrostatic screening with QED Ferrite Insulation Technology™ to help protect the signal from unwanted RF and digital interference before it reaches your subwoofer.

Less noise. Less distraction. More music.

Flexible Where it Matters

Subwoofers rarely sit conveniently next to the amplifier.

That's why Performance Subwoofer uses an ultra-flexible TPE outer jacket that makes routing and installation easier, while helping reduce handling noise during setup. Gold-plated QED phono connectors ensure a reliable, high-conductivity connection designed to last for years.
